Some things are built to last. They are made out of good, solid material, but most important, they have a strong foundation. They have a firm foundation that will stand no matter what happens. We want our faith to be like that, and to be like that our faith must be In Jesus Christ alone. We must build our faith on Him. He is the one true rock that will never break or crumble. Our faith needs to be in Him, and His work for us, alone. He is our rock forever, always faithful to do what He has promised.
Here's a great Bible lesson about Jesus. He is takes care of His children, looking for his lost ones, and caring for them.
How do people hear about Jesus ? Someone has to tell them who He is, what He has done, and what He will do. That is called the Gospel. Gospel means 'good news'. Hearing the Gospel, or the Good News, is how God saves His people. The Holy Spirit gives His people new life and opens their hearts and minds to the Gospel of Jesus. Through the gift of faith from God, His people believe the Good News of the Gospel and become His children. They grow to become like Him, a special creation of God. One day, all who believe the Gospel of Jesus and have become His children will go to live with Him in paradise. There they will with Him forever, living in peace and joy. Just like the birth of a baby is miracle from God, so is the new life by faith in Jesus. The people who spread this Good News all over the world are called Missionaries.
It's a new year, and we're back with more fun pages to enjoys and save!
